Practice Swim Meet for PreCompetition & Competition Team
The Practice Swim Meet is an opportunity for swimmers and parent volunteers to practice in a safe and familiar environment. The Practice Meet takes place at the Westgate Cabana Club pool and it is just Gator swimmers – no other teams! Swimmers will have an opportunity to swim each event to get their baseline or “seed” time for the season. Throughout the season swimmers earn “improved time” awards each time they improve at the upcoming swim meets. See Order of Events below to see the order each event appears in the swim meet line up.
Westgate Swim Team is a member of Valley Aquatic League
Along with four other swim teams that we compete against each season….
- Westgate Swim Team (Gators) – 4 lane pool in West San Jose
- Los Ranchitos Swim Team (Sharks) – 5 lane pool in Campbell
- Encore Swim Team (Dolphins) – 6 lane pool at Leigh High School in San Jose
- Los Gatos (Stingrays) – 5 lane pool on Oka Road in Los Gatos
- San Jose Country Club (pending)
